President: Kris Daley, CPA, CMA
Asset Manager at RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust, Kris has 13 years of experience in corporate accounting and performance management. Kris has been actively involved with the Kiwanis Club of Toronto Caribbean since 2022, previously serving as Assistant Treasurer. Kris’s professional expertise, coupled with his commitment to community service, highlights his ability to drive both corporate and not-for-profit initiatives effectively.
Secretary: Lisa-Gaye Burton
Manager, Personal Banking, BMO, Lisa is an experienced Senior Financial Sector Leader with a demonstrated history of working in the banking industry with skills in Operations Management, Teamwork, Leadership, Risk Management, and Strategic Planning. Prior to this Lisa was a Senior Financial Service Representative with CIBC for over 7 years. Lisa has been with the Kiwanis Club of Toronto Caribbean since 2019.
Treasurer: Diedra Dick, CPA
Business Officer, University of Toronto, Diedra is a CPA with a solid experience in financial management. Prior to this Diedra was with PwC in Audit and Assurance and later a senior accounting role at a small accounting firm where she honed her experience in planning, leading and reviewing financial statement assurance engagements in the not for profit, private and financial industries. She is a CPA and has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto. Diedra has been with the Kiwanis Club of Toronto Caribbean since 2021, with previous role of Assistant Secretary/Treasurer.
Director – Fundraising: Orlando Lopez, CFP, CIM, CIWM
Investment Advisor, at RBC Dominion Securities, Orlando is an Experienced Financial Planner with a demonstrated history of working in the banking industry. Skilled in Banking, Asset Management, Stock Portfolios, Securities, Retirement Planning, and Investment Advisory. Prior to this Orlando was a Financial Planner with TD for over 10 years. Orlando has been with the Kiwanis Club of Toronto Caribbean since 2021.
Director – Public Relations, Hospitality, & Inter-Clubbing: Glenford Gordon
A retired Electronics Engineer, Glenford has had a solid experience in the tele communications sector and worked with Bell Communications up until his retirement. Glenford has been with the Kiwanis Club of Toronto Caribbean since 2021.
Director – Service Leadership Programs: Cassandra Culpepper
Senior Corporate Law Clerk, Cassandra is a highly efficient with an ability to ensure that a company complies and operates in accordance with statutory and legal provisions. Cassandra has deep knowledge of corporate regulatory and company rules and excellent organizational skills, Cassandra has been with the Kiwanis Club of Toronto Caribbean since 2021.
Director – Spiritual Aims: Rohan Harrison
Lead, Grounds Department, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Center, Rohan has been providing extensive care as an Agronomist with Sunnybrook Hospital for over 17 years and is passionate about his gardens. He is also on the Board for Landscape Ontario, Horticultural trades Association. Rohan has been with the Kiwanis Club of Toronto Caribbean since its inception in 2018.
Director – Membership: Vienna Hylton
Vienna is a retired teacher who has dedicated her life to uplifting the younger generation and nurturing healthy communities. Throughout her career, she understood the power of education, mentorship, and compassion in shaping future leaders. Today, she continues that mission as an active member of the Kiwanis Club of Toronto, where she remains committed to service, community development, and creating opportunities for youth to thrive.
Immediate Past President 2023-2024: Roy Scarlett B. Arch and M. Urban Design
Architecture and Urban Design professional, Roy is also an Educator with 10+ years of progressive experience encompassing Architecture, Urban Design, Construction, Planning, Project Management and Administration, Contract Management, Estimating, Budgeting, Research, Analysis; and Education & Training. Roy has been with the Kiwanis Club of Toronto Caribbean since its inception in 2018, serving in prior roles such as Director of Public Relations, Hospitality, & Inter-Clubbing.
Past President 2021-2023: Sharon Barnes-Simmonds, CPA, CGA, FCCA, MBA
Client Controller at CHARITYacCOUNTS! Inc, Sharon is an Experienced CPA Finance Professional at the executive level with non-profit organizations. Prior to this Sharon was the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) With Action Against Hunger Canada and has been at the senior finance management level within the non-profit sector for over 10 years. Sharon has been with the Kiwanis Club of Toronto Caribbean since its inception in 2018, serving in other roles as Director of Projects, and Director of Fundraising & Community Services.
Past President 2020-2021: Andrew Stennett, MBA, PMP, PRINCE2, CSM
Certified Project Management Professional (PMP®), Andrew has over 30 years of professional experience. He has worked in permanent and consultant roles in various fields in Jamaica, the United States, and Canada. Andrew has been with the Kiwanis Club of Toronto Caribbean since its inception in 2018 and served as its charter President-Elect for 2 years. Since October 2022, Andrew has served as District Chair for Bylaws, Policies & Procedures for the Eastern Canada & the Caribbean (EC&C) Kiwanis District.
Charter President 2018-2020: Hugh Simmonds, PhD
University Professor with Toronto Metropolitan University, Hugh is a dynamic public speaker, keynote storyteller, and mental fitness coach dedicated to inspiring individuals and transform organizations through impactful storytelling and servant leadership. He holds a PhD from the University of Waterloo focusing on leadership, culture, and service innovation. His expertise is augmented through executive education programs at Harvard University, University of Colorado, Boulder, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Stanford University. Hugh has been with the Kiwanis Club of Toronto Caribbean since its inception in 2018, serving as its Charter President.
